As tarifas dos 31 municípios da Região Metropolitana de Porto Alegre serão reajustadas em 4,67% a partir da zero hora de segunda-feira (16). O índice foi homologado na ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­quinta-feira (5) e publicado no Diário Oficial do Estado na sexta-feira (6) pela Agência Estadual de Regulação dos Serviços Públicos Delegados do RS (Agergs), após análise do processo encaminhado pela Fundação Estadual de Planejamento Metropolitano e Regional – Metroplan, em maio deste ano. O último reajuste na região foi em 15 de julho de 2006 de 6,27%. A menor tarifa na Região Metropolitana ficará em R$ 2,25 entre Porto Alegre e Alvorada e a maior de R$ 9,65 entre Porto Alegre e Taquara, modalidade comum. Diariamente são transportados 530 mil usuários em 1.160 linhas de ônibus.
